Description Mr. Yoichi Suzuki arrived in Boston in mid-October 2005 to assume the post of Consul General of Japan in Boston. He has previously served in the Japanese Embassies in Paris and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in the Political Section. He has also served as Deputy Permanent Representative of Japan to the World Trade Organization in Geneva, Switzerland. He has long experience dealing with trade negotiations and has served as chairman of various international trade bodies. He likes to both watch and practice various sports.
