The World Affairs Council of Connecticut is committed to broadening the horizons and increasing exposure of global affairs for its members. This includes young professionals who are focused on career development and personal growth. With a consistent vision of promoting awareness and dialogue of international affairs, the World Affairs Council of Connecticut strives to engage Young Professionals in this campaign.

The goal of the WAC Young Professionals group is simple: to enable young professionals to increase their exposure to global affairs, to take part in networking opportunities, and to get involved in the community. With a wide array of programs and many more in development, the YP group also provides an opportunity for members to interact with some of Connecticut’s most prominent leaders in government, education, and other professional fields. Through a variety of ways such as prominent speaker events, informal forums and small gatherings, members benefit enormously from their participation.
