Education

In keeping with our mission to create informed public opinion on international issues, the Council has worked with schools and the Connecticut Department of Education to provide quality programs for students and educators that increase awareness of our world and the challenges facing all of us as global citizens. Through the Integrated International Education Program, the Council has been able to provide learning opportunities with a long-range goal of fostering development of Connecticut residents who have an understanding of the world beyond our borders.

The Integrated International Education Program is a three-pronged approach that serves students, teachers, and educational policy makers throughout the state of Connecticut. Through this approach, the Council is able to maximize the efforts of its very small staff and limited budget to build a network of business, government, educational institutions, and NGOs within our state, increasing our ability to reach a broader audience. These include:

2008 CGA Summer Geography Institute
Student Programs
Teacher Programs
Education Policy
Consulting Services
WACCT and International Education in Connecticut
